Organizational Reform and Personnel Changes
Toyo Advanced Technologies Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, President: Yoshiaki Hongo; "Toyo" hereinafter) officially announces the following organizational reforms and personnel changes effective April 1, 2015.
1. Organizational Changes
<Objectives>
To forcefully promote the reform of business processes centered on integrated BOMs in the Machine Tools Business unit from sales to development and design, purchasing, and manufacturing.
To strengthen customer service functions in the Machine Tools Business unit so that it reaches a level that completely exceeds all global competition and to further improve customer satisfaction.
To unify manufacturing and product inspection functions in the Machine Tools Business unit in order to accelerate quality improvements by building in quality at manufacturing processes.
To strengthen the quality assurance system of the Automotive Components Business unit and also promote quality improvement activities.
<Contents>
A Production Control Department will be newly established, and production and cost control functions of the Machine Tools Manufacturing Department will be transferred to this new department.
A Customer Service Department will be newly established, and the service and quality assurance functions among the service, quality assurance, and product inspection functions held by the Quality Assurance Department will be transferred to this new department.
The Quality Assurance Department will be abolished and the product inspection functions will be transferred to the Machine Tools Manufacturing Department.
An Automotive Components Quality Assurance Department will be newly established, and the quality assurance and inspection functions of the Automotive Components Technology Department will be transferred to this new department.
