Toyo Obtains ISO14001

Toyo Advanced Technologies Co., Ltd. has earned ISO14001 (commonly known as environment ISO) certification for its operation in its headquarter and main plant based in Hiroshima. The certificate was awarded on June 14 by Japan Automobile Research Institute (JARI), which as part of its function, evaluates and certifies for ISO accreditation.
Toyo has been working toward making effective use of resources and energy as well as minimizing impact on the environment, under its environment principle, "to promote environment protection and contribute to a better society." The initiative to gain ISO 14001 certification is part of these efforts and represents Toyo's determination to be a good corporate citizen.
Earlier, the company obtained ISO9001 certification, an international standard for quality assurance, for its machine tool business in April 1999.
