November 17, 1999 Toyo's Top Technician Receives Medal Mr. Isao Kubo, Foreman, Machining Section, Production Dept. 1, was honored a nationally recognized Yellow Ribbon Medal lately. The award was given for his outstanding skills in flat surface grinding as well as his distinguished service in fostering younger technicians. After the presentation ceremony held on November 11, he and his wife were given an audience by His Majesty the Emperor at the Imperial Palace. Mr. Kubo was previously recognized publicly as "A Master-hand of Modern Days" by the Minister of Labor in 1997.
